On 25th December 2023 Dr. Anil Prakash Joshi visited Pravah Head office, Deoghar, Jharkhand, Dr. Anil Joshi is an environmentalist, green activist, and the founder of Himalayan Environmental Studies and Conservation Organization (HESCO), a Dehradun-based voluntary organization. His work majorly includes developing sustainable technologies that are ecology inclusive economy for ecosystem development. In his speech, he speaks about how to save our nature and share his ideas on nature conservation through his nature network, and mainly addresses why GEP (Gross Environmental Product) is an important measure parallel with GDP for the country. Dr. Anil Joshi was honoured by Padma Shri, in 2006 and Padma Bhushan in 2020 for environmental conservation in Uttarakhand and for his contributions to Indian society. At this meet, Pani Re Pani, Chetna Vikash, Lok Prerna, Sword, Vikalp, Jan Vikas Samiti, Aapka Aanchal and many more organizations from Jharkhand and Bihar State were presented.
